Great Book Resources to Explain High Functioning ASD, ADHD, and Anxiety to Children and Teens

Kathy Hoopmann (http://www.kathyhoopmann.com/) writes mostly about high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, previously called Asperger Syndrome. She writes “Asperger Adventures” where characters solve mysteries and discover more about their autism in the process. She also has a series of three lovely picture books: All Cats Have Asperger Syndrome, All Dogs Have ADHD, and All Birds Have Anxiety wherein she explores some of the elements of these conditions (and in some cases, strategies to manage them) to create a better understanding for children and the adults who care about them.

Happy reading!
